ANNOUNCEMENT: Hello everyone!! It is with a humble and heavy heart that I'm sharing this news with you. Our dear Sister, Evg. Deborah Davidson, has made her transition to heaven these past days. When I met her, we instantly connected. We knew that our meeting was guided by God's Holy Spirit. She was a beautiful person of whom I had the blessing to cross paths with. I think you would agree with me that Evg. Deborah was a true warrior in the Army of God. Now, her warfare is accomplished! (Isaiah 40:4 KJV). I thank you Father God for favoring me to meet your Servant, Evg. Deborah Davidson. I'm looking forward to reuniting with her and all the saints in heaven. Most of all, I can hardly wait to finally seeing Jesus and our Father in that great gettin up morning!!! RIP
Please keep all of her family, friends, and loved ones in prayer.
Welcome Home Soldier!!!
Hello everyone!!! I don’t have a lot to say this month. My message is short and sweet.
Let me share with you some of my favs. I was always a person who loved to read. I had some books of my own. I read books when my class would go to the school library. I enjoyed going to our neighborhood library. And still I love to read.
Another fav of mine is sports. I really enjoy watching football, basketball, boxing and wrestling. I learn a lot about life by watching these sports. Finally, I love military movies. My ultimate favorite is Saving Private Ryan. I really get into this one.
The reason I love these types of movies is it teaches me how to be a soldier; how to fight. I learn how to set my strategies. Finally, I learn how to think like the enemy. The art of strategy is the most important of all. Know your enemy, know your weapons.
Now I say all this because at some point, the war will end. Or your services will no longer be needed from you. Cool. It’s time to go home. Whoo hoo!
Now, here’s where I’m leading to. Soldiers get to go home. Now I learn this by watching videos on Youtube. The video was of military soldiers returning home. Inside the airport, many people were waiting for their loved ones to show up. So as the very first soldier came out, all of the people began clapping their hands for the soldier's return. It was so beautiful to me, every soldier was shown love and appreciation for their service over in Afghanistan. There was cheering, crying, high fives…...and lots of appreciation and love given.
During this video, it occurred to me that one day we’ll get to go home too. You see, this world is NOT our home. So one day, as a soldier in the army of the Lord, we too will receive our leave to go home. Heaven is our home. And in that home we will be surrounded by our family, friends, angels, and all the saints who made it home before us. And finally we will see Jesus himself. Jesus will welcome us home and then take us into the presence of Almighty God. It is there that we will receive our reward and God will say what we ALL want to hear - “Well done my good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord”.
That's what I'm aiming for. Just tell me “Well done”, give me a hug, then show me where the music department is!! That, my friends, will be some seriously awesome praise going on!!! (they’ll be Andrae Crouch, Thomas Whitfield, Oscar Hayes, The Hawkins brothers, James Cleveland…...and that’s just scraping the tip of the iceberg).
So I’m just sharing with you, when we are called home and greeted by everyone, you can look for me in the music department!!! RIP my sister.
